Private Security Services became Licensed in North Dakota as a Provider of Private Security after the owner had accumulated over 16,000 duty-hours performing Security in North Dakota.
The owner’s background and work experience consists of employment in Construction, Engineering, Healthcare, Oilfield, Government, and Security. Employees of Private Security Services typically have work experience in Construction, Agriculture, Healthcare, Oilfield, Law Enforcement, Military, and Security.

Employment With Private Security Services
If you wish to apply for employment with Private Security Services, please be aware that the North Dakota Private Investigation Security Board is extremely strict about “No Criminal History” and “Full Disclosure”.
The North Dakota Private Investigation Security Board NDPISB requires that each applicant be fingerprinted, usually at a Sheriff or Police Department. These fingerprints will then be sent to the FBI where a nation-wide, from beginning-of-time criminal records check will be performed.
In the past, we have seen applications denied for “gas-station drive-offs” from 40 years ago, or “providing-alcohol-to-minors” from 35 years ago, and “expunged criminal records”, mostly because of failure to “Fully Disclose All Criminal History” as requested on application, not necessarily because of the actual crimes themselves.

The owner of Private Security Services began performing security in western North Dakota in 2014 at a regional airport. After that his security assignments were at hospitals, construction sites, oil storage facilities, oil companies, shopping centers, apartment communities, and events, as an unarmed guard, armed guard, and manager of security, with over 16,000 hours of duty. During that time, it was observed that the most important qualities in a Security Guard are good judgment, reliability, and dependability.
Western North Dakota has an abundance of older workers with many years of work experience in construction, the oilfield, and agriculture. These older workers have tremendous practical knowledge about people, working in industrial environments, safety, and responsibility, which make them excellent candidates to work in security. Private Security Services relies heavily on very experienced workers with practical knowledge and sound judgment. Employment is also given to young workers who can demonstrate that they are conscientious, responsible, dependable, and have good judgment.
